Court Beyond Limits

After working on the Hennessy x NBA event in 2021, being involved in their 2022 concept was a no brainer. The brief for this event was to go above and beyond from the previous year. Building on last year’s full size basketball court, 2022 saw Australia’s first-ever floating basketball court. Making it’s debut in Sydney Harbour, Hennessy celebrated the playoffs and NBA’s 75th Anniversary Season with a series of iconic court settings.

This activation had everything from LED screens, sound, DJ gear, lighting and rigging. It was a massive step from what we first did in 2021. Jay Productions and Events, also implemented Chauvet’s Well STX’s to create a luminous feel while the stars were performing. The vibrant purple made the floating basketball court glow in the water.
